Look who's talking.
Sushma Swaraj’s comment alleging UPA’s role in the recent blast in Bengaluru and Ahmedabad is irresponsible and peevish. Though she claims that to be her personal opinion but such comments from a senior politician reflects party’s line of thinking. It’s seems that the BJP want to cross every limit in his political battle. They are ready to adopt any means to defeat United Progressive Alliance and tarnish their image into the eyes of citizens.
She has said that the recent blast was carried out to divert public attention from the cash for vote scam. She also has said that the UPA wants to mobilise their Muslim vote bank through these blasts. Until now a sensitive issue like terrorism were kept outside political arena and we have seen all parties censured it in one tone and didn’t do anything that can disturb the outdoors of peace and harmony. But now BJP wants to politicize it.
Such statements not only puts our security agencies under scanner but also destroys their self-will. And also such incongruity in politics can boost terrorist’s intentions. BJP can question the congress take on terrorism and for this they have the right to demand new laws, but the timing is not right. They should have waited a bit.
The reflection of party’s desperation is there in Sushma’s comments. The show of power over the trust vote reveals BJP’s internal conflicts. The growing mismanagement and indiscipline crops up when some of their MP’s voted against party’s will. Even their politicians were in dilemma in the parliamentary discussions. They were unable to take a strong stand over the nuke deal and didn’t even score over UPA on other questions. Another plight of BJP’s is that this context has increased the image of Mayawati.
But now they should have to come out of their narrow minded thinking. In their attempt to demean their rivals they are calling public suspicion. It would be beneficial for them to associate with issues related to common man and engage in campaigning for their welfare.
