In the line of duty.
Once again the ambience of India’s internal security is disturbed. How the government will deal with it depends solely on them, but there is no doubt that Indian’s are ready to face the challenges. The intentions of terrorist are crystal clear. They are trying to shake us by deploying terror. One thing that is ready to assist them in their intentions is the anti secular forces. Terrorist are of the opinion that the anti secularism in our country would get wider through their activities and India would destroy itself through its own weapon.
Unfortunately this weapon was there before even terrorism exists. Through several years we were feeling it's heat, but in spite of a demeaning history, uneasiness and complaints there is something which stops India becoming a puppet into the hands of terrorism. Whether its jaipur or Bengaluru or Ahmedabad at each place the people shows exceptional courage and keep their patience intact and denied themselves getting arrested to the feeling of hate and injustice. All of this carry forward India’s tradition of not indulging into riots after a terror attack, though 2002 Gujarat was an exception.
In this country there are many other reasons than terrorist attacks which works as a catalyst for igniting riots. In spite of feeling happy about being together after terrorist attacks we must stay away from anti secularism. We have to end it because terrorist can use it. If we manage to save our self from our own weaknesses then terrorism would not be a big danger for us.
This time too, the things that adds to the problem are fake claims and wrong messages circulated minutes after the blast. Those who sends e-mails, make phone calls after the attacks were either genuine or rumours. We know that rumours can be dangerous in fighting the mental battle from terror. No one knows whether they really are players of terror or just lunatics. The police took them seriously because of the nature of the situation. No doubt, such matters should be investigated properly. People involved should be arrested and prosecuted on the lines similar of terrorists. Because such activities are equal to harbouring terror.
Also, the support of citizens is required to fight terrorism. Government alone cannot fight this war because the enemy is unknown. They attack secretly, living among the citizens. By being alert citizens can give clues and there awareness would prove to be as important as any other source. The need is to teach citizens about the techniques of combating terror then only we would emerge strong.
